Practice Policies

Appointment Policy

Our practice operates primarily by appointment in order to allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures. However, in the event of an emergency urgent cases will be given precedence.

Morning consults are avaliable between 9am and midday, and afternoon appointments resume from 3pm until close at 7pm. Unfortunately occasional appointment delays are unavoidable due to the presentation of emergency cases. In these instances we operate on a triage basis, while still ensuring all clients are seen in a timely manner.

If you are unable to visit the clinic during these times 'drop-off' appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you are able to leave your pet with us in the morning with a view to him/her being examined by the Veterinarian during the day. Once the Vet has assessed your pet our staff will contact you to discuss diagnosis and required care. Discharge instructions may be discussed with our friendly Nurses at the time of pick up and we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have at this time.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash, EFTPOS and personal cheques.

Patient Arrival Policy

When bringing your pet to the clinic we ask that all dogs are presented on a lead and cats be transported in a cat carrier. This will ensure the safety of your pet and others while visiting the clinic. Cat carriers are also available to borrow, just ask our staff prior to your appointment.

Privacy Policy

All of our staff understand the importance of protecting the personal privacy of our clients and patientsAt no time will any information be given out about you or your pet without your expressed consent.
