How Do I Get Pet Insurance?: 

As with any purchase, it is usually the case that "you get what you pay for". We have found that many of the "cheaper" pet insurance companies are difficult when you go to claim. We suggest you shop around and perhaps check with the "Choice" organisation. Applications are usually done over the phone or internet, although application forms can be completed and mailed or faxed.

What Kind of Information is Required?:

A full veterinary history is required with your first claim, and subsequent claims require your vet to complete a history report.

Do I Need to Pay My Bill Before I Claim?:

Yes, the bill needs to be finalised before claiming on your insurance, so that you are able to present your receipt. Many insurance companies will not pay a claim if the Vet account has not been paid in full.
